Wholelife Physiotherapy - Bethnal Green, Bow and HackneyLiam is a senior physiotherapist with extensive experience of treating a wide range of muscle, bone and joint problems. He loves what he does, which is working with people to help them get better or give them the tools they need to manage long term conditions.
He is trained to Masters level and works in GP surgeries, hospital A&E and sports medicine clinics. While at the Royal London Hospital he worked with clinicians from Arsenal Football Club and the British Olympic team.
In technical terms Liam practices musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has built up a strong interest in the diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and sub-acute soft tissue injuries, spinal disorders and hand injuries. Liam is also an acupuncturist and a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and British Medical Acupuncture Society.
Liam has acted as a physiotherapy consultant to The Guardian newspaper, and worked with a range of people from stuntmen to professional musicians. He says:

Liam has a first class honours in Physiotherapy from the University of East London and he was chair of the UK Student Committee of the Chartered Society. He is also trained to degree level in Sports and Exercise Science.

Mike Glover is a Senior Sports Physiotherapist with 12years experience in the NHS and Private sector. After graduate training; Mike joined the Physiotherapy Team at Tower Hamlets and then moved to Homerton University Hospital; during this time he ran an “Acute Soft Tissue Injury” Walk in Clinic and managed an Outpatient Team and an Inpatient Orthopaedic Team. Mike returned to Tower Hamlets in 2002 to manage the Sports Rehabilitation gymnasium at Mile End Hospital and has done so for the past 7years. He works with a worldwide renowned team of Orthopaedic surgeons, Radiologists, Podiatrists and Sports Physicians who currently work with national sports at all levels including World and Olympic. He has spent 2 seasons with the London Leopards Basketball Team (UK BBL Champions 1996/97 & 1997/98).
Along side Mike’s clinical responsibilities he has a core role in education with QMW University – as part of the Centre for Sports and Exercise Medicine team. Mike provides Physiotherapy clinics for Doctors and Physiotherapists etc completing the course. He also lectures and assists students on research in the field of Isokinetics.
Mike is a keen sportsman. He has represented club, county and country in many sports including Gaelic games, Cross-country running, Athletics and Football. Mike holds a sub 2hr 55min Marathon time, an All-Ireland Cross-country Championship, multiple County championships at both Track (1500m, Mile, 3000m) and Cross-country and a Youth Indoor Olympiad Bronze medal (1500m).
